Home.

Returned from a beautiful trip to Costa Rica, only to be stuck packing to go back to cold, boring college.

I miss the sun, summer dresses, sunglasses, being with my boyfriend 24/7, and freedom.

Never Let Me Go

During fall break, my friends and I drove two hours to Montclair to see "Never Let Me Go" in this little, old-school cinema.
You can sense my excitement after seeing the film.

Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley blew me away with their portrayals of Kathy and Ruth, as did the terribly adorable grandma sweaters, peasant skirts, big coats, and wool tights coherent to the 1990s rural England setting.

Last night, at the book exchange my friends and I had, I received the book by Kazuo Ishiguro as a gift. I just started reading it, and I'm getting ready to be swept away again.

Dear Marc and Jason,

Fabulous! Everyone's still all about the 70s and 80s, but you two choose to do that whole early 20th century/art deco thing. Genius genius genius! Check out these looks that Marc Jacobs did for Louis Vuitton Pre Fall 2011:

And, we can't forget the masterpieces of Jason Wu:

I'm copying Jason and Marc's adaptations on the style stars of the time immediately!

Buffalo Exchange

Finally! I've been obsessing for years over Buffalo Exchange, stalking their website and envying the girls wearing it in nylon street style books or on the teen vogue website. One just opened in Chelsea, so I went today and was in heaven. Designers everywhere, nothing really over 50 dollars unless it's really new and innovative. I came home with a bagful of clothes and the rain boots I've been unable to afford until now! I can't stop smiling!

Hugging my Emilio Pucci rainboots! They were only $45! :)

The bag of clothes!

Cuddling with my puppy, Marina, and showing her all of my purchases!

Some basic shorts from Lux (Urban Outfitters) to wear ziplining in Costa Rica

A We the People blouse that's so comfortable and fun!

The front's longer than the back, and the back has an slit detail at the bottom.

The back of my new Rachel Rachel Roy dress. Rachel Roy is my all-time favorite designer, and my go-to for anything that I can possibly need fashion wise.

The front.

A long, multi-colored sweater from Diane Von Furstenberg's 2010 fall collection.

A lovely little Free People skirt.

A Diane Von Furstenberg dressy top for going out or to wear in the summer.

This awesome, one of a kind, limited edition "The Who" tribute dress from Trunk LTD (the clothing line  dedicated to honoring bands).

The back of it

I'm so making Buffalo Exchange a monthly trip! 114 West 26th Street! <3
